Magee should have been long gone. The Lions pounced, and earned a B.

When a board-topper like Jordan Magee slides to Round 6, Pick 30, you do not overthink it, and the Lions did not. No fireworks, but a solid B.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through safety. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball. The dealing was even money, start to finish.
