No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Patriots.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Patriots did exactly that with Andrew Armstrong in No. 220. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Wide receiver is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. The skill positions did well by the weekend.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
