Whoever sat across the table from the Lions should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Every board in the league had Everette lower, and that gap is the story.

The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
