The rest of the league had time to spare on Jaylan Ford; the Broncos did not wait, grabbing him 58 spots ahead at the 147th overall pick. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down. The Brownlee Jr. pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with tight end and quarterback still on the board.

A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
