The phones sank the Lions this weekend: D-.

The Lions did not so much draft Kedon Slovis as overpay for him, 49 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The offensive lineman hole is the one line item this class does not answer. They banked enough surplus on Pritchett to cover a lot of smaller sins.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and offensive lineman is still a hole.
