The trade table was where it all came apart. The Lions shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. Put together, it is a D.

The Briggs reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. They will regret leaving safety for another day if the season turns on it.

That is an offensive lineman worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Lions clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
