Nobody else had Eyabi Okie-Anoma anywhere near pick 239. The Saints did, by 44 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A D that will need time and luck to look better.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Landing McGlothern that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.
