The Panthers cashed the board's mistake on Bullock: B.

You can draft well and still miss the point. The Panthers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to cornerback, which was the need that mattered most. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

Getting Bullock where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They left with wide receiver solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the cornerback spot they never got to.
