The Bears torched the value chart for Jackson Powers-Johnson, taking him 39 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They have staked the next five years on Caleb Williams, which is the only story that really matters here.

The running back spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. Jackson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster.
