The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bills reached some 27 spots for Jah Joyner, and value like that does not grow back.

Spending an early pick on cornerback with safety, quarterback and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. McMillan falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch. A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the safety spot they never got to.
