Quarterback settled, McCarthy in the fold, and a B for the Commanders.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Commanders spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

McCarthy has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. Landing Ulofoshio that late papers over a lot of smaller sins.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
