Best value of the weekend goes to the Chiefs for Bernard: D-.

The Chiefs lost the trade war and it was not close, handing partners the better end again and again. A D- that will need time and luck to look better.

They will answer for taking cornerback early while quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots went begging. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

That is a wide receiver worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. Braden Fiske gives the group a proven body among the projects.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
