The board owed the Bills one, and it paid up: Nicholas Singleton, the No. 102 name on the board, sitting there at pick 184 like a gift left on the doorstep. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Small wins on the phones, but wins all the same.

Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
