The Raiders ran the phones like sharks, prying loose value on deal after deal until the ledger was lopsided. The bottom line is a respectable B+.

The cornerback hole is the one line item this class does not answer. If Berger pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.

The Raiders paired the rookies with proven help, Tyrann Mathieu leading the way. The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes.

Good work on the whole, with cornerback the one box left unchecked.
