Larceny in the 256th overall pick lands the Chargers a B+, Marks and all.

Thirty-one other rooms let Woody Marks slide, and the Chargers were the ones holding the card at pick 256. Highway robbery. Call it a sensible B+, earned the boring way.

The dealing alone would carry a lesser class. Every board in the league had Pegues lower, and that gap is the story.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Chargers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
