The trade table was where it all came apart. The Browns shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill.

The Davis pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it. Job largely done: wide receiver settled and 6 of 9 of the wish list covered.

Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, quarterback very much included.
