The Bears robbed the room for Simpson. Final grade: A-. Thirty-one other rooms let Jaylin Simpson slide, and the Bears were the ones holding the card at the 209th overall pick. Highway robbery. Little to argue with here, and the A- says so.
The cost of the Keegan reach is exactly the players who went right after him. The phones were where this weekend was really won.
For all the activity, quarterback went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Williams pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board.
It is a haul that will look even better come September.
