Draft Grade — Cardinals
Overall B-
ValueC NeedB+ TradesB- FutureB-
No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Cardinals.

Nobody else had Nazir Stackhouse anywhere near slot 78. The Cardinals did, by 114 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

However the rest shakes out, McCord at that price is a win they earned. They punted on wide receiver, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. They went 4 of 8 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but wide receiver.

Pick Analysis
Pick16 Rnd1 Armand Membou
In No. 16 they get a building block for the line. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick47 Rnd2 Jihaad Campbell
Nothing to complain about; Jihaad Campbell went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick78 Rnd3 Nazir Stackhouse
Value said wait; Nazir Stackhouse in pick No. 78 says they were not listening. It fills a real need, too.
Pick115 Rnd4 Jordan Phillips
A tidy little value on Jordan Phillips in Round 4, Pick 13, a step better than break-even. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick152 Rnd5 Kyle McCord
They barely believed it either: Kyle McCord still on the board at the 152nd pick. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
