Whoever sat across the table from the Chiefs should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.

With quarterback unsolved, spending premium capital on cornerback is the choice that costs them. The Ford pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

A competent weekend that does not make headlines and does not need to.
