Draft Grade — Giants
Overall

FutureB-
The Giants bled value on every deal, hence the D-. There is reaching, and then there is Jaydn Ott at the 155th overall pick. The Giants jumped the board by 71 and dared it to prove them wrong.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped interior defensive lineman, which is a strange place to end up. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Bond.
Safety was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
Pick Analysis
Pick2
Rnd1
Wyatt Milum
In the Round 1 slot they get a cornerstone up front at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick33
Rnd2
Quinn Ewers
A reasonable price with a little left over, Quinn Ewers in Round 2, Pick 1. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick66
Rnd3
Isaiah Bond
Isaiah Bond in slot 66 should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
Pick102
Rnd4
Clay Webb
Steal is underselling it; Clay Webb at No. 102 is a heist with the alarm still ringing. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick104
Rnd4
Lander Barton
Lander Barton at the 104th overall pick is a clear overpay, with better names still on the board. Useful depth more than a marquee fix.
Pick134
Rnd4
Zy Alexander
Zy Alexander at the 134th pick is a sound buy, the sort that quietly helps a class. The roster fit checks out.
Pick155
Rnd5
Jaydn Ott
A big swing on Jaydn Ott at pick No. 155, well ahead of any board in the building. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick217
Rnd7
Kevin Winston Jr.
Kevin Winston Jr. at the 217th pick is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick245
Rnd7
Luke Lachey
Luke Lachey in pick 245 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
