There is reaching, and then there is Malachi Lawrence at the Round 3 slot. The 49ers jumped the board by 55 and dared it to prove them wrong.

The Price value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

The Lee III pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback still on the board. The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

Not a headline-grabber, but a perfectly good weekend's work.
