You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Lions did exactly that with Jack Westover in the 249th overall pick. Good, not great, and the B- says as much.

A whole weekend of picks and safety is somehow still a want. Getting Jones where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. They went 5 of 9 on their needs, which is most of what a draft is for.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.
