You can draft well and still miss the point. The Buccaneers did plenty of tidy work and somehow never got around to interior defensive lineman, which was the need that mattered most. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C+ in the wash.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

If CJ Allen and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
