The Titans let Bernard fall and pounced. Final grade: C+. Call it larceny. Germie Bernard sat on the board until No. 101, and the Titans did not need to be asked twice. It lands right in the middle: a C+, no more, no less.
Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. It is not that Cisse is a bad player; it is that the Titans had louder needs to answer first. Leaving quarterback unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
