The Titans let Cooper Jr. fall into their laps, and walked away with a C. Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the Titans were there to profit. Omar Cooper Jr., the No. 55 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 89th overall pick. Some smart calls, some head-scratchers, and a C in the wash.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher.
Spending an early pick on cornerback with edge rusher and quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster.
So much rides on Jordyn Tyson that the real verdict is a season or two away.
