When a board-topper like Taylen Green slides to No. 238, you do not overthink it, and the Dolphins did not.

The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

Adding Jalen Pitre by trade rounds out the weekend beyond the rookies. The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
