The Dolphins cashed the board's mistake on Hunter: D+.

Somebody took the Dolphins to the cleaners. The deals they made bled real value, and the whole class wears it. A weekend that fought the value and lost, hence the D+.

They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Abney II pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with edge rusher still on the board.

Hunter at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
