After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Bears committed. Caleb Williams is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

However the rest shakes out, Carson at that price is a win they earned. The Bears indulged a want in Solomon while a need in edge rusher, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
