The Bears let Hall Jr. fall into their laps, and walked away with a A.

Somebody in No. 123 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Bears sat still while Michael Hall Jr., the No. 88 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. Very little went wrong, and the A is earned.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Every board in the league had Van Pran lower, and that gap is the story.

The future picks help the war chest more than the win-now roster. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Bottom line, with Dallas Turner leading the way, this is a class that should pay off fast and rarely be regretted.
