The 49ers kept it disciplined and banked a B-.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the 49ers would have aced it. Marist Liufau at the 94th overall pick is 54 spots clear of where he belonged. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

That running back hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with offensive lineman chief among the fixes.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
