Draft Grade — Patriots
Overall A
ValueB NeedB+ TradesA+ FutureA+
Best value of the weekend goes to the Patriots for Mukuba: A.

Whoever sat across the table from the Patriots should ask for a receipt. They cleaned the room out, prying loose far more value than they gave up, and it was the quiet MVP of their weekend. One of the weekend's best, top to bottom, and a A to show for it.

On value alone, Mukuba makes the weekend a net positive. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through edge rusher. Gadsden II has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Tetairoa McMillan and all.

Pick Analysis
Pick12 Rnd1 Tetairoa McMillan
In Round 1, Pick 12 they get a difference-maker at receiver. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick38 Rnd2 Tyler Booker
They took Tyler Booker at par in pick 38, which is nothing to complain about. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
Pick69 Rnd3 Demetrius Knight Jr.
A slide stopped in slot 69, with Demetrius Knight Jr. worth more than the price. A minor itch, scratched.
Pick77 Rnd3 Omarr Norman-Lott
Nothing to complain about; Omarr Norman-Lott went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick106 Rnd4 Andrew Mukuba
The board fumbled Andrew Mukuba all the way to No. 106, and they scooped it up. A glaring weakness, addressed head on.
Pick144 Rnd5 Jackson Slater
A reach for Jackson Slater in the Round 5 slot; a little patience would have been rewarded. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick171 Rnd5 Damien Martinez
Damien Martinez is a better player than the 171st overall pick suggests; smart patience, rewarded. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick174 Rnd5 Oronde Gadsden II
A wild overpay on Oronde Gadsden II in pick 174, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick220 Rnd7 Donovan Edwards
A quiet steal in No. 220: Donovan Edwards for less than the market said. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick238 Rnd7 Ricky White III
Ricky White III in slot 238 is a bargain the rest of the room will envy. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
