The trade table was where it all came apart. The Seahawks shipped out far more than they hauled back, and no amount of spin dresses up the bill. A weekend to file away and forget, and an F to match.

They will need Harrell to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. It is not that Smith is a bad player; it is that the Seahawks had louder needs to answer first. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Spend now, pay later; the math only works if this class delivers.

There is no soft landing here: they fought the board and left quarterback open, and the grade is the bill.
