The Commanders left with their quarterback, and a A- to match.

Start where it matters. The Commanders took Drake Maye to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one. This is how you run a draft, and the A- reflects it.

The Simpson steal is the beam this whole class leans on. Every board in the league had All lower, and that gap is the story.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. For all the activity, wide receiver went untouched, which is hard to explain.

In short, they turned a good board into a better roster, and it shows.
