Larceny in the 238th overall pick lands the Commanders a B, Colby and all.

Somebody in Round 7, Pick 20 was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Commanders sat still while Connor Colby, the No. 173 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium.

Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Reaching for Hairston left real value on the table behind him. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

The back end got a real overhaul.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
