A sensible, unshowy class lands the Chiefs a B.

The Chiefs did not so much draft Theo Johnson as overpay for him, 22 picks clear of his grade. It sets an uneasy tone for the weekend. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

The Stover pick is fine in a vacuum, less so with quarterback, interior defensive lineman and other spots still on the board. However the rest shakes out, Murphy at that price is a win they earned.

If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback.

Good work on the whole, with quarterback the one box left unchecked.
