You can hear the double-takes from here. The Chiefs took Christian Jones at the 171st overall pick, roughly 42 spots before his name belonged.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped tight end, which is a strange place to end up. The Pritchett steal is the beam this whole class leans on. On the needs board they went 6 of 8, with wide receiver the one that mattered most.

Good work on the whole, with tight end the one box left unchecked.
