Draft Grade — Titans
Overall A-
ValueB NeedB TradesA FutureA+
The Titans won the night they stopped Clark from sliding. Grade: A-.

The rest of the league will want that one back. De'Corian Clark tumbling to the Titans in the Round 7 slot is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Very little went wrong, and the A- is earned.

Leaving running back unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. The Titans paired the rookies with proven help, Javon Kinlaw leading the way. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly.

The hoard sets up next April more than it helps this September.

Add it up and few war rooms did better this weekend, Graham Barton and all.

Pick Analysis
Pick31 Rnd1 Graham Barton
In Round 1, Pick 31 they get a blindside protector at fair value. Exactly the need they had to hit.
Pick39 Rnd2 Troy Franklin
They let Troy Franklin come to them and pounced at pick No. 39. It fills a real need, too.
Pick65 Rnd3 Kingsley Suamataia
Nothing to complain about; Kingsley Suamataia went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. It answers the question that was keeping the coaches up at night.
Pick107 Rnd4 Roman Wilson
A slide stopped in the Round 4 slot, with Roman Wilson worth more than the price. A sensible fit for a spot that needed help.
Pick131 Rnd4 Nehemiah Pritchett
No edge and no loss on Nehemiah Pritchett in No. 131; it is a wash and a sensible one. A quiet depth add at a thin-ish spot.
Pick138 Rnd5 Jaden Hicks
They read the board right and Jaden Hicks was the payoff at the 138th overall pick. A minor need, but a need all the same.
Pick144 Rnd5 Javion Cohen
Javion Cohen at slot 144 is neither steal nor reach, just the going rate. The one spot they could not leave alone, and did not.
Pick168 Rnd5 Malik Washington
Quietly one of the better values of the day, Malik Washington at pick 168. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick185 Rnd6 Justin Eboigbe
A clean, defensible pick in the Round 6 slot with a little surplus value in Justin Eboigbe. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick228 Rnd7 De'Corian Clark
A wide receiver of that caliber at Round 7, Pick 8 is the definition of value, full stop. The roster fit checks out.
