It is the swing that defines the weekend: Sam Hartman in pick No. 232, a good 51 spots before the room expected him. Nothing here to lose sleep over; call it a B-.

The Pritchett pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at running back and interior defensive lineman. Whatever else happened, they won the night they took Johnson.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
