Draft Grade — Jets
Overall B
ValueB- NeedA- TradesB- FutureB-
The Jets drew a line under the quarterback search with Manning: B.

They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Arch Manning is the Jets' quarterback, full stop. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

Every board in the league had Michalski lower, and that gap is the story. The King value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

For all the activity, safety went untouched, which is hard to explain.

A workmanlike haul that should hold up just fine.

Pick Analysis
Pick4 Rnd1 Arch Manning
In slot 4 they get their guy under center for the next decade at fair value. The biggest hole, addressed.
Pick36 Rnd2 Nyck Harbor
Nyck Harbor in No. 36 lands just on the right side of the ledger. The roster fit checks out.
Pick68 Rnd3 Whit Weeks
A straight-up fair deal on Whit Weeks at the Round 3 slot, value and slot in agreement. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick104 Rnd4 Charles Jagusah
Charles Jagusah in pick No. 104 is exactly on the number, no argument either way. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
Pick139 Rnd5 Daevin Hobbs
A big swing on Daevin Hobbs at the 139th overall pick, well ahead of any board in the building. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.
Pick143 Rnd5 Davison Igbinosun
By-the-book stuff, Davison Igbinosun at Round 5, Pick 5 squarely in line with his ranking. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick182 Rnd6 J.Michael Sturdivant
J.Michael Sturdivant at pick 182 jumps the queue by a touch more than is comfortable. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick197 Rnd6 Trey Moore
Trey Moore at the 197th pick is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick210 Rnd6 Da'Shawn Womack
Da'Shawn Womack at Round 6, Pick 34 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick251 Rnd7 Zen Michalski
A real head-scratcher, Zen Michalski in pick 251 is miles ahead of his ranking. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
Pick253 Rnd7 Haynes King
Haynes King at No. 253 is the steal of the weekend, a first-round talent at a bargain-bin price. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
