The Cardinals torched the value chart for Jager Burton, taking him 281 spots sooner than anyone had him slotted.

They banked enough surplus on Allar to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The verdict is a shrug for now, with the swing picks left to write the real ending.
