The Bears looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jaylin Simpson at Round 4, Pick 11 regardless, 43 picks early. Just about everything broke right, and the A- follows.

They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own. The Bears indulged a want in Solomon while a need in running back, linebacker and other spots stayed open.

For all the activity, running back went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Bears paired the rookies with proven help, Ja'Whaun Bentley leading the way.
