The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Bears reached some 56 spots for Jalen Travis, and value like that does not grow back. It grades a D, and the process earned it.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Johnson falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

The quarterback hole is the one line item this class does not answer.

A rough weekend that leaves the roster with more questions than answers.
