A passer of the future in McCarthy, and a B+, for the Broncos.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Broncos spent their marquee pick on J.J. McCarthy, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback. More right than wrong, and a B+ to match.

Every deal seemed to tilt their way, which is not luck. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. The Wilson pick alone nudges the whole weekend up a notch.

Good work on the whole, with edge rusher the one box left unchecked.
