The Giants did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Trey Amos fell into Round 7, Pick 42. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

So much rides on Cam Ward that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up.

On the needs board they went 7 of 9, with interior defensive lineman the one that mattered most.

All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
