Draft Grade — Bills
Overall
B
ValueB
NeedA-
TradesB-
FutureB-
The Bills did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B. For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Bills walked out of the weekend still thin at offensive lineman, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.
They left with linebacker solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the offensive lineman spot they never got to.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Denzel Boston
In pick No. 26 they get a No. 1 receiver at fair value. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick60
Rnd2
Deontae Lawson
Nothing to complain about; Deontae Lawson went a shade earlier than his grade, which is fine. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
