Every swap seemed to tilt away from the Bears, and the value they bled adds up to real damage.

They have staked the next five years on Jayden Daniels, which is the only story that really matters here. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped cornerback, which is a strange place to end up.

If Eboigbe pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. However the rest shakes out, Benson at that price is a win they earned.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
