For all the names on the card, the loudest question went unanswered. The Chiefs walked out of the weekend still thin at wide receiver, a hole that has a way of deciding seasons. Call it a sensible B, earned the boring way.

They left with running back solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
