When the story of this class is written, it opens with Jay Higgins at the Round 5 slot, a reach of 36 spots that the board flatly disagrees with.

That Bryant pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off.
