For all the boxes ticked, the Chiefs skipped the loudest one: quarterback is exactly as bare as it was. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. The Nwankpa pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes. They came away with juice, if not much beef up front.
