Trapilo should have been long gone. The Bears pounced, and earned a B+. You could see the war room lean forward. Ozzy Trapilo at the 132nd overall pick is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Good, not great, and the B+ says as much.
The phones were where this weekend was really won. They punted on edge rusher, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.
The cost of the Jackson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.
All told, a solid class that does its job everywhere but edge rusher.
